I'm a native Texan. My husband and I moved to Parker in 2004 for the country lifestyle with close big city amenities.

I retired from the Texas Dept of Criminal Justice after 25 years, serving as a Director and Legislative Liaison to the State Legislature.

My past work experience gives me the unique ability to understand issues involved with running a governmental entity along with supervisory experience in handling human resources.

I served as the City Council Liaison for Dublin Creek Homeowners' Association for 7 years.

I was on Parker's Planning and Zoning Commission where I served for 4 years.

I was the past co-chair of the Parker Volunteer Fire Dept's Fundraiser, and an active participant for 13 years.

Served as the President of Parker Women's Club, having been an active member since 2008.

Attended All Council Meetings for five years prior to being an elected Official of Parker (and all since that time, with the exception of 2 meetings)

Attended All the City’s Annual Budget and Planning Sessions prior to being an elected official (and all since then)

Appointed and served 4 years on Parker’s Planning and Zoning Commission

Elected and served 6 years on Parker City Council

Served as Mayor of Parker for 8 years
